Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

They are small files or identifiers that Astranova Consultoría Avanzada S.L.U. stores on your device (browser or app) when you use Eskotin. In our case most of this storage is browser "local storage" rather than classic cookies, but the law treats both the same way and this policy covers them equally.

2. What we use today

As of today Eskotin does not load analytics or advertising tools in the application. We only use strictly necessary storage:

• Authentication session: local storage and a cookie from our authentication provider to keep you signed in and refresh the session. Necessary. Duration: up to 1 year or until you sign out.
• Language: eskotin_lang cookie with the language (ES/EN) you choose or that your browser reports. Necessary to show you the site in your language. Duration: up to 1 year.
• Cookie consent: eskotin_cookie_consent_v1 local storage entry with your decision and its date, so we do not ask again and can evidence it. Necessary. Duration: until you clear or change it.
• Security and infrastructure: technical cookies from our hosting/CDN for load balancing and abuse protection. Necessary. Duration: session.

Necessary cookies do not require consent (art. 22.2 LSSI). The analytics and marketing categories are off by default and would only be activated with your prior consent; if we add any tool in the future it will respect the choice you saved and we will update this page.

3. Third parties involved

• Backend and authentication provider (session and security).
• Application hosting and CDN.
• Payment processor (Stripe), only during a payment or subscription management flow, with necessary and anti-fraud cookies.
• Google Fonts, which serves the site typeface and may process your IP address when doing so. It does not set advertising cookies.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with your Google account.

We do not use behavioural advertising cookies and we never sell data to third parties.

4. Managing your consent

On your first visit we show a banner with three equally accessible options: accept all, reject non-essential or manage preferences by category. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time:

You can also clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings. If you clear the session you will need to sign in again. Rejecting non-essential categories does not affect how the service works.

5. Mobile app

In the mobile app we use local storage equivalent to cookies, for the same purposes and durations. You can clear it by uninstalling the app or clearing its data from your system settings.
